Call for Candidates

Buckingham Homes Association is seeking candidates for four (4) seats that will be up for election this summer. Serving on the board is a great way to contribute to our community's well-being and connect with your neighbors.

 

Director meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday of every month and in early July for the annual meeting. Candidates must declare their intent to run and submit a candidate statement to the BHA office by 10:00 AM on Monday, April 28th.

Candidates for BHA Board membership must meet the following qualifications:

• Membership to Buckingham Homes Association for at least one (1) year

• Non-delinquent in the payment of regular and assessments

• Not a joint owner of a property with another Board Director serving at the same time

• Not having a past criminal conviction that would either prevent the Association from purchasing the required fidelity bond coverage or cause the Association's existing coverage to be terminated

Candidates who do not qualify will be notified by April 28th, when nominations close. Disqualified candidates will have until May 13th to complete Internal Dispute Resolution.
